2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Saleya, we may collect:

• Name and contact information
• Email address and telephone number
• Business and company information
• Account credentials and authentication information
• Customer, order, product, and transaction information entered into the platform
• Messages and other communications processed through connected channels
• Information from connected third-party services
• Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and application logs
• Information necessary to provide, secure, and improve the Service

3. Third-party integrations

Saleya allows businesses to connect third-party platforms and services to their Saleya account. These integrations may include services provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., including:

• WhatsApp Business Platform
• Instagram
• Facebook Pages and Messenger
• Threads
• Meta Commerce and product/catalog services

When a business connects a third-party account, Saleya may receive information made available through the relevant API and authorized by that business. The information we receive depends on the permissions granted by the business and the functionality being used. We use information obtained through third-party integrations only to provide the functionality requested by the business and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

4. How we use information

We may use information to:

• Provide and operate Saleya
• Process and manage business transactions
• Manage customers, products, orders, and communications
• Connect and synchronize third-party services
• Send and receive messages on behalf of connected businesses
• Provide customer support
• Authenticate users and secure accounts
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Maintain and improve the Service
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Meta platform data

When a business connects a Meta account to Saleya, we process Meta platform data only as necessary to provide the requested integration and functionality. We do not use Meta platform data for purposes unrelated to the functionality authorized by the business. We do not sell Meta platform data. We do not use data obtained through Meta APIs to independently identify, profile, or target individuals for advertising purposes. Where applicable, access to Meta data is subject to the permissions granted by the business and the applicable Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

6. Data sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Saleya, such as:

• Cloud hosting providers
• Database and infrastructure providers
• Email and communication providers
• Analytics and monitoring providers
• AI providers used to generate assistant replies and transcribe voice messages (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Payment processors
• Security and fraud-prevention providers

Before message text is sent to an AI provider, we automatically replace phone numbers, email addresses and national identification numbers with placeholders and restore them only in the reply delivered to the customer; delivery addresses are not included in AI prompts. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental authority, or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or the security of the Service.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When a business disconnects a third-party integration, Saleya will stop accessing the corresponding third-party account through the integration.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Data deletion

Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their Saleya account. A user may also request deletion of information obtained through a connected third-party integration. To request deletion, contact legal@saleya.app and include enough information for us to identify the relevant account and process the request.

10. Third-party services

Saleya integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies and terms. Your use of third-party services is also subject to the applicable policies of those providers.

11. International data transfers

Saleya may use infrastructure and service providers located in countries other than the country where you are located. By using Saleya, you acknowledge that information may be processed in other jurisdictions, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

12. Children’s privacy

Saleya is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
